Re: Can Some One Help

Hi Andrew, Thanks for posting this query. I have needed something like this and couldn't find the answer. The most helpful response was one from WWWBMAN because it was possible to poke around in his solution to see how it worked. This was the game changer. This was another example of not needing to ...

Re: New site

Very impressive site. Would like to see a bit more styling particularly using fonts that are consistent with graphic design concepts. The Craig Stewart Logo doesn't lie comfortably with the rest of the graphic elements in the home page. Perhaps a re-design of the logo is called for. You get high mar...

Re: working on newest work hostel apartment

Hi Robert, for: There is only a minimum stay of 2 nights. Our apartment is available for booking in different seasons: suggest: Minimum stay 2 nights. Available all year round. The home page needs a name. How about a map showing the location of the apartment in relation to the town centre and port? ...

Responsive Contact Form

I don't find that to be correct Pablo. On this page the actual attributes are named 'Start' and 'End' rather than 'Flex-start and Flex-End'. Please see: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_grid_container.asp In any case, we are not using the code that W3C are using because we are using an application ...

Re: Flexgrid issue

Hi Pablo, Thanks for identifying the problem. This was work in progress and its not very user friendly if the WWB page disappears without any indication/notification of an error. There was never any intention to have identically named cells - it was just being worked out. The design was such that al...

Re: Flexgrid issue

Hi Pablo, I have checked and the link does work. However, you may have been a little quick off the mark. The purpose of the exercise is to become competent with the skew whiff naming of Flex-Grid. A grid of 18 squares was under construction in which the red ball in each square was to be aligned acco...

Re: Flexgrid issue

I am still having problems with values changing (when the content is changed) and disappearing grids (when attributes are changed) leaving objects suspended when looking at the WWB page.

The wbs is available from here: https://learnus.co.uk/flex_grid_issue.zip

I'm using version 4.2

Re: Will this work with WYSIWYG Web Builder

Interesting suggestion Baconfries. I have taken a look at the rotating list spreadsheet and see that the process involves using a number of Excel functions to change the order of a list in a specified way. Are you suggesting that these functions could be duplicated within the Extension Builder? File...

Re: UK Small Campsite work in progress.

Rusty, I am really impressed particularly since you are a first time use.

You've made good use of the green 'style' and the concepts you want to promote come over well.

I'm only sorry that my camping is limited to the Lake District.

Re: Quick campaign website for Senator Ligon

I understand that this site was designed to be used with mobile phones. The typeface on my PC is a bit 'in yer face' and would benefit from being a bit more friendly. Sure it would be nice to relax but with the mid term elections coming up I think that most people are bracing themselves for the stor...

Re: Dog walking services website

The white font used on the home page is dense and bold and this makes it difficult to scan easily. Consider raising the size of the font, increasing the spacing in between the letters and changing bold text to normal.

Re: Primary School site

I was wondering where you are located until I noticed the suffix of the URL.

It may be helpful to identify your location before parents in other countries get too enthusiastic.

Re: Overlay Menu and Embedded Page

Flexgrid could and can work very well. The only problem is the naming of the alignment controls in accordance with W3C I suppose? People are able to fly complex machinery like aircraft because the controls are named ergonomically and therefore there is no delay or confusion when reading the Altimete...

Re: Responsive Contact Form

After a marathon of input and trying to fathom out the alignment I have managed to get a form, contained by the FlegGrid object, to work. https://www.learnus.co.uk/about/membership.php The main issue is the use of controls which are just not ergonomically named. Such as 'align content' - does that m...

Re: Overlay Menu and Embedded Page

FLEX GRID - Couldn't agree with you more Pablo. Everything else in 14.1 seems to work brilliantly but Flex Grid layout has the capacity to consume time like a vampire drawing blood. I have spent days and days attempting to create a form that works with this object and all I end up with is a dead bod...
