QEWB Windows to Linux?

If you create a site with Quick'n Easy Web Builder in windows mode, can it be opened in Linux mode without problems?
Or do I need to start in Linux from the beginning? Would that be best?

THANKS!

Ok, been away for a while as my last version was 15. Picked up the $100 version in support of. I remember years ago looking at WWB in the beginning and saying no and moving on. Now you're the top dog of the few that's left. We've come a long way since the days of FrontPage and SiteSpinner. And a doz...

Re: Do mobile phones always look for the 320 breakpoint?

Here's a website that should help. Pixel size and the actual viewing port size appears to be two different things. I was confused until I saw the difference. The view port size is the one we're interested in of course. It does not have the latest iPhones or google phones but will give you some info ...

Question #1001 about Master Frame vs Master Page

(I have looked at/read the tutorials, videos, the user guide, help section within the program and set up mock sites with both. Also searches within the forum over a long period of time. And I am still confused about which to use and or is best. So let's see if we can nail this down, please.) 1.) The...

Re: File Cabinet Effect? Tabs - Cards - Gallery

BAM! LIGHTNING STRIKES! DUDE Alright Pablo, tab feature works and is responsive. What a time and space saver once setup. Filing cabinet meets web page! Questions: 1.) Seems to work OK in a layout grid? (initially) 2.) Will work in flexbox? (Seems awkward and disappears. Doing something wron...

Hamburger Menu and Cards as Menu?

1.) I see many websites that are just using a hamburger menu only, that would have a very large navigation bar.

2.)I see some websites are using cards instead of a button or hamburger menu now.

Any thoughts?

Thanks Again

File Cabinet Effect? Tabs - Cards - Gallery

A page that would show a line of tabs like a filing cabinet folder. When you clicked on a tab a page of info (text) would open up. The tab would just have a date on it. This would be ideal. What am I wanting to do? Have a lot of info (50 to 70 pages) that will be logged by date that would not be act...

Layout Grids, Master Frame – Embedded/Master Page? Image/Picture?

1.) Do all the grids work inside the content place holder with the master frame feature? 2.) Now that we can anchor a grid at the top or bottom of a page, can a grid be used as a master object with an embedded page? 3.) Can any object be placed in a grid? 4.) Re: Website with No Grids?

I’m going to reluctantly agree with crispy68 and bk, for the 2 sites I’m working on is mostly text with a few images. So I will give the grids another try. (Back to School) (I have an I-phone 4s and a site using bootstrap looks fine. Another site uses CSS grids for the page content and it will not e...

Re: Website with No Grids?

Thanks Pablo, Alan and Nicola Alan, you are well on your way and smooth transitions with the break points. My 2 cents, when dragging the browser window smaller your menu bar goes to the top of the page with no margin/gap. On at least one page the text overlaps. On the activities page the font looks ...

Website with No Grids?

With all the hype and hoopla about the various grids, I thought I would give them a try with the end result being grid lock. Either too complicated and/or just not getting the control I want. 1.) So will a site with normal header/footer, content and breakpoints still work across the various browsers...

Thanks Crispy, right on page 53 of the user guide.
(It's actually under View --- Guide Settings)
I'll check it out tonight. Hope that helps with the responsive menu problem, collapsing before the break point.

I will recheck the menu problem when I have time.
I'm sure there's a problem, what's causing it is another story.
Try putting in a responsive menu when checking the page jumping.
Thanks

Re: Responsive Menu Trouble

Having the same problem. Hamburger menu appears just below the page width (1330) with the menu and layout grid set to break at 480. The menu is in a single cell grid alone, so it is not being crowded. The max width for the grid is set at minus 1330. Related?: When placing an object in a layout grid ...
