Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
System restore! Because one application doesn't work correctly? That has to be a joke, surely! All my other applications work perfectly. It's only your application that has these issues. My working day is very busy supporting clients. I don't have the time to try to create various permutations of a ...

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
I found a new one today.
The cursor is now offset to the right so that it is on top on a character and slightly down.
It also only flashes 6 times and then stays steady.
No other application I have exhibits this behaviour.

A nice demonstration of one of the issues.
Watch the line spacing reset to the wrong value as I click outside the text box.

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
@lummis The links to the page showing the output where the footer is in the middle of the page is a side issue. It's always behaved like that for me, so I use '<div> with position' for all new pages. The real issue is that paragraphs in the editor, that use the same styles and look the same, can ren...

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
If I can get a demo project to fail, then I will, but like I said, it's fairly random.
I'd send the current project, but I've bodged it using global line-spacing. Putting it back would be laborious and possibly not show the weird behaviour again.

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
I've checked the setting and they are all as specified. I've been having this type of issue for years, long before I upgraded to 4K monitors. So far, I've just bodged the page so that it comes out as I want. I've been using WYSIWYG Web Builder since about version 9 or 10. I've also had the weird eff...

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
Firstly, I do not recommend not use "Use <div> with position for each line" or "Include line-height in text styles". These options are only available for backward compatibility, they should not be used with responsive websites. You may not recommend them, but it is the only opti...

Re: Still can't get consistent paragraphs
I added some more text to the page, but this is how it appears in the WYSIWYG Web Builder editor. The lines are squashed together, unlike the other paragraphs. And it's using all the same styles as before. This is extremely inconsistent behaviour! https://www.etlcpp.com/temp/StylesOriginal2.png

Still can't get consistent paragraphs
I've always had issues getting the text on my website to format as I want with WYSIWYG Web Builder, but I finally came up with a solution a while ago that gave me consistent results, if a bit of a bodge. I've tried Use <div> for each line Use <div> with position for each line Include line-height in ...

Re: Setting line spacing removes style link
Also, changing a style does not seem to have an immediate effect. I have to 'select' then 'unselect' the text again (on each open tab) before it is updated.

Setting line spacing removes style link
I don't know if this is by design or not, but selecting a paragraph of text and setting a specific line spacing for it ("right-click / Line Spacing") disconnects all of the text from its original style settings. i.e. If my paragraph contained text with my 'Normal' and 'Code' styles, adjust...

Re: Closing last tab closes project
Also, it seems to work the same as browsers, or other multi-page document applications. None of my programming IDEs work that way, nor do any of my image editors. That's curious. When I close the final tab it doesn't shut down it just leaves a blank tabless area. That wouldn't be a problem if the S...

Closing last tab closes project
It's always been a slight annoyance that when I close the last tab in a project, it closes the entire project, forcing me to open it again (which automatically opens again the tab that I wanted to closed). I end up having to remember to keep at least one tab open (even if it's not one I want to edit...

Re: Options for double-click selection of text

Re: Options for double-click selection of text
How about, as an alternative, a search/replace option to modify the style for all instances of specified text on a page. i.e. Change all instances of "uint_least8_t" to have style "X" Then I could change all of the styles in one go without a laborious 'click'-'drag'-'select style...

Options for double-click selection of text
I run a C++ programming site and I'm often selecting bits of code to change the colour or font. A lot of my code contains words separated by a hyphen i.e. uint_least8_t When selecting these with a double-click I only ever get the text up to the hyphen. i.e. uint_ least8 _t Because of this I have to ...

Random published pages are centre justified
Sometimes, after publishing I find the content in (random) dozens of my published pages have become 'centred'. I've just upgraded my setup to 4K monitors and tried to edit my website. I've been trying to get MS Edge to show Google fonts for a while now. All other browsers worked fine, Edge didn't. All I ever got was default serif fonts.
