Re: How to quickly add forms to your web site

A lot of the issues I have seen here have been to do with logging on, PHP and database stuff. I do accept that setting up a basic form can be easy, but anything vaguely complex takes a lot of time and experience. My alternative suggestion is just that - a suggestion, but one that works well for me. ...

How to quickly add forms to your web site

So, you want to put a form on your web page. It could be a Contact Me form, it could be a request for information form – or something more complex. WYSIWYG (WWB) can do it all for you, but there’s a price to pay. You need to set up some form of database on your server and the web page itself may hav...

Re: Adding an SMS link.

It won't work if they open the link on a desktop machine - only a mobile.

Re: Site compatible with both laptop and mobile phone

Steve, Have a read up on 'breakpoints'. That's the key to making things work on mobil, tablet and larger systems. If you want an easy start, I've produced a simple template with 5 breakpoints that work fine on all devices. You can find it here https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=...

Why not try them all on a test site and see which YOU feel is best?

Re: Card Buttons Not Aligned

Vance, I already suggested this in another thread to you: Vance, When Pablo says "remove all non relevant stuff", what he means is (my interpretation): 1. Create a new project 2. Put in the offending item (in your case the card container) and whatever it takes to reproduce the problem. So, no other ...

Re: How to Remove a Bookmark?

Can't you move the card to one side, delete what's underneath and then move it back?

Re: upload files from WEB

Yes, I do know that. But if I do that, I have to have two upload profiles for each web site (I manage 4 or 4). It's just as easy to use FileZilla to do the final upload once it's been tested.

Re: upload files from WEB

I already do this. When I publish, I send it to a local NAS drive. This is a synology box with PHP and an Apache web server - so I can test it out before it goes live. Once I'm happy, I then use FileZilla to connect to the same local drive and upload it to my real host. I also save the project (and ...

Re: My Hosting Service Has NO PHP and Database Files

If you want an example, have a look here https://www.penninescouts.org.uk/nan.html - feel free to fill it out but do NOT click on Submit (thanks).

There's other forms scattered through the web site too - contact ones.
