Re: Login / Logout

@alex4orly I may be misunderstanding what you are trying to do but it does seem as though you may be over-complicating things. My approach would be to have a separate page for the login object - this can be accessed either from your menu or a button labelled Admin which directs the administrator to ...

Re: Publish Failed after update

I hear what you say BF but that is not what is normally meant as adding attachments to a forum :)

My worry is that the file will not move us forward whereas answering the direct question will!

Re: Publish Failed after update

Pete, Attachments are not permitted on this forum so no one will be able to look at your zip file! You will help yourself and Pablo if you just answer his questions. You have already said that it works if you use a new local folder so that is why there is a suspicion that you may be using the same f...

Re: Email Marketing Campaign Software?

I know what you mean, Colin but just look at it like any other software - you could say that WWB is a one time payment (rather than subscription). I think that they have used that terminology just to differentiate themselves from those that charge a monthly fee. But in the end you have to go with wh...

Re: Email Marketing Campaign Software?

Hi Colin Sorry if I gave the impression that the free version would suit your client - I guessed that they would have more than 100 subscribers as otherwise it would be a poor marketing campaign :) What I was trying to indicate is that you could have a look at the free version which does have nearly...

Re: Email Marketing Campaign Software?

Colin I use Sendblaster to send out newsletters to a small golfing society group so use the free version that allows for up to 100 mailings. The recently issued version 4 does have a liquid layout which I have not used as yet and there are a number of templates that you can play around with although...

Re: ***UPDATED*** DB Technosystems Form Processor 02/09/2011

I am sure that George (Naval Design) can give you the reason why it is likely to work, but from experience and seeing similar queries on the forum responded to by Pablo it is usually the answer! It has something to do with the way that the form processor works but I don't know the technicalities. I ...

Re: URGENT HELP NEEDED SITE DELETED AND WONT PUBLISH

The page comes up when you add index.php to your domain name - at a guess you have left an index.html file on your server. Delete that file and you should be in business.

Re: ***UPDATED*** DB Technosystems Form Processor 02/09/2011

The "email" is a hidden field used in the same way as another form which is working correctly. The "Delete" action is via a Delete Button with Javascript "mySqlDelete()". May I send you the code via your website contact form?

Re: ***UPDATED*** DB Technosystems Form Processor 02/09/2011

George, I am trying to use your Form Processor mainly for the auto-responder function when a user makes a deletion from a MySQL database. To complicate matters I am also using the MySQL Connector extension to populate two Editboxes on the Form. Everything is working as required except that the auto-...

Re: new Tool- shows how your page looks on various device si

I have just tested both these sites with a website built with WB9 and they show a very different representation than what I see on my mobile devices, where the pages are rendered correctly. I think the clue is in the website's names as they seem to have been designed for responsive pages and not the...

Re: News Ticker ***2/3/13***

BaconFries - I think that the Getting Started link for this extension is pointing at an incorrect file. I am getting a message that the PDF is not available although it is in the correct folder. It would seem as though it is pointing to newstickerwb8.5.5a.pdf instead of newsticker.pdf
