Full Width Background

1 of my all time favorite 3rd party WB11 extension is by RZ - "Full Size Proportional Background image". I often place it either in a master frame as a full screen background or inside a layer either as a full-width proportionately cropped or fixed width proportionately cropped image. However, I am ...

Re: Peek user testing

I've been a little quiet so yes I am trying to get my 1/2 star back on the rating. :D Trying to do what I can. I've tested quite a few different pieces of software and WB11 is still by far my favorite. No question. As for the catch with Peek user testing, I believe there is a link in there somewhere...

What Font

Earlier someone had posted a question about "what font did you use". Since the question as not posed to me I did not want to hijack the thread and answer it BUT I did think I'd post a way to find out for future reference - What Font Bookmarklet - http://code.stephenmorley.org/articles/whats-that-fon...

Re: For your responsive site designs

Another link on device resolution stats - http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_display.asp. My monitor is 1600x800 (20") & traditionally I use 1260, 1024, 768, 480, 320. I think I may add 1900 to the list for that next size up monitor - but I still like the wider gutters. 50-100px. Wierds me o...

Re: For your responsive site designs

On that note let add this one also by google - device size in px: https://design.google.com/devices/

Be sure to look at the height / width by dp (not in, cm or px) to see if your breakpoints will fit.

Re: Responsiveness

Question - what websites do we all think would be useful for view on a smart-watch (apple or android brand)? Me personally, I see it more for apps (email, maps, etc). I don't necessarily see it as useful for web browsing or even texting - unless connected to a Bluetooth ear device with voice recogni...

RWD Check & Interesting Phenomenon

If your site has a breakpoint of 1024, and you go to Google Chrome to check it, it provide two different views depending on which tool within Chrome you use. If you use the RWD icon in the upper right, it might render the view of the breakpoint smaller than 1024. This seems to be due to the scroll b...

Re: Countdown (FREE)

Bummer. Thanks for the reply. Would be nice if it didn't rely so much on CSS3 (so IE8 could support) but I understand. Thank you again.

Re: FullScreen Proportional/Background Pack *** UPD May-21-

Don't hate me for asking this question but is there anyway to have the pic grow (as the monitor is widened) from a single side (bottom, top, left, right) as opposed to the center?
Just curious. Thank you in advance.

Re: Sneak Preview of a PARALLAX template

Zinc - are you saying the two sites you noted were built using the two extensions you mentioned? Just curious. I see the designs being the current trend. Beautiful work. I look forward to learning this technique.
