Re: smallest BP to largest?

Nightmare is a good description! Currently working my way through my site over 100 pages. Not just the BPs its the extra coding to cope with Android and IOS quirks especially with full size image backgrounds and layers. The satisfaction is seeing it all come together on the small screens then take a...

Re: Why Clear Browsing data?

Hi Pablo, I put this meta stuff in my page some time ago but for some reason I put expiry dates back in the 80's. Can't remember why. Should I remove the expiry dates and put it as you have it?

Re: link from word in text object

Just heard back from the Fancybox creator - the cure was to put data-fancybox="" in the html tab!

html object styling

I recently created an html object and styled it using css giving it a border and white background then giving it 20px padding all round the contents. Viewed in desk top - perfect, on mobile, Chrome had to make padding, bottom 140px just so contents viewed appeared within border. The compromise being...

Re: link from word in text object

Hey, thanks for that. I found a far more convoluted way around the problem because I had a single focus on making the system work. Often the simplest ways are the best. Good to have a second pair of eyes and thought that's why I like these forums and sharing of ideas.

Re: link from word in text object

Customising html does not work either as WB will include more than 1 href or add quotation marks where not needed. It's just not as flexible as html properties on other objects. Went back to adding a button and inserting html in that instead. Unless someone can tell me otherwise I'll leave at that.

Re: link from word in text object

For this particular application I'm using Fancybox3. The problem is to separate the data-fancybox from the href code so it reads as per my code .With an image you have before and after tags so easy to set up the html. Not so simple with text links.

link from word in text object

I wish to insert a link from a single word in a text object. It has to appear in the generated html as: <a data-fancybox href="https://youtube.com/embed/ei40FDkfE50?rel=0&fs=1&autoplay=1"></a> I have tried several combinations but haven't hit on the right one yet. I can easily do it in an image but ...

Re: Events in SlideShow and other...

you can do that with slideshow and the fancybox options:
Example 1:

http://www.whiteshepherdsnz.com/NewSite ... llery.html

Example 2:
http://www.whiteshepherdsnz.com/NewSite/events.html

admittedly there is some add-on coding and I imported Fancybox 2 to get the effects I wanted.

White Shepherd Dog Club Site

I joined Bazza in moving from Web Studio 5 to WB 11. Still running my old site with WS 5 but working my way through a re- write under WB11 here: http://www.whiteshepherdsnz.com/NewSite/index.html A lot different but enjoying all the resources available. Currently working on the "Events" Page where t...
