You can also trigger the animation on the layout itself. For layers/layout grids there is no need for a separate bookmark.

This assumption is not correct. The Title, Description and keyword meta tags are set for each CMS view, not only for the home page.

If I place a Label it takes up the entire layout grid, so that I can't place the related Editbox right next to it. Using "changed objects only" updates text and other small changes. It is not useful if you have added a slideshow because that completely changes the structure of the page.

The themeable button is part of the jQuery UI widgets, so that is why it is using jQuery UI themes and not styles.
