Users signup using the standard WWB Signup tool. After a user has signed up, you can assign usergroup and USer Redirect page. You may want to have a look at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2010-051308-1854-99 and submit a "whitelist" request to solve this issue. Can it be false alert? Because my antivirus did not scream anything. Have you try and download other extensions...
