Tekst editing is standaard Windows functionaliteit is (rich edit)
C:\Windows\System32\msftedit.dll

Misschien is het bestand msftedit.dll corrupt?
Of misschien is het bestand overschreven door een oudere versie?

Op mijn computer is de bestand versie:
10.0.17763.1

Dat zou kunnen in combinatie met bijvoorbeeld een ontbrekend lettertype.
Het is lastig hier iets over te zeggen aangezien het bij mij zonder problemen werkt.
