Variables only work with text or code. A banner is an image so the text cannot be replaced.

This is intended behavior. Adding an overlay will change the HTML structure of the layout grid. This cannot be different in breakpoints.

There is no 'delay'. The reason why it takes while before you see the text is related the length of the text vs the height of the object.

Please set the output format of the text object to 'Default', then it will work just like in WWB14.

Just drag & drop the extension in the form layout and set the properties.

This is normal bookmark behavior and as far as I know you cannot changed this.
The reason why some bookmarks do not show this is because they are controlled by JavaScript for the animation.
