Navigation for small screens - Opinions?

Post by filmphotog »

Hi, I'm exploring possible navigation on small phones, iPad etc. I made a test page with 4 CssMenu's, there are 20 pages but could easily be 50 for the site I have in mind. Loading everything in one InlineFrame isn't ideal though, only one page will be indexed :|

Perhaps the menu should be at the bottom so it's easily reached by the thumb on a small phone? Opinions? :?:

The test page is here

Thanks! :D I uploaded as a WB project here (regular project, not template).

Perhaps it's not as useful as a template, all images are hot-linked to my site and most pages are just html objects. You could see if it's useful.

it looks cool how did you get the animations when select?
IT'S THE DESIGNER THAT CREATES AWESOME WEBSITES AND OTHER FANCY STUFF....NOT THE TOOL THAT THEY USE!

Thanks! :D I was using a WB Html object with code from here http://www.w3schools.com/w3css/w3css_animate.asp (see the zoom).

I'll try to recreate this with native WB objects though, perhaps Css transitions at onload.

Thanks for this! Downloaded your templates yesterday. They have given me an idea as to how to revamp my own site.

Here is another idea
http://www.beleuramyhome.org.au/videoclips.html
It offers an open ended number of menu items-all resulting display in an Iframe, check on your mobile phone to see how it looks

Cheers
