ftp access

Post by Michael LaBella » Sat Aug 18, 2018 6:44 pm

hi Pablo, i prefer keeping all functions in my WYSIWYG 14, so, i am having a heck of a time getting the right configuration for it to upload, so i still have to use an alternative ftp up loader. My site is hosted by Yahoo, and it has upgraded to htps i installed the demo ftp ad dons but i dont want to buy it till i can get it to work,, then i can purchase it, but, this is above my ability to fully understand ftp. or html.

also this was posted on Yahoo
Important: As of January 4, 2017 all FTP sessions will require an FTPS connection along with TLS 1.2 protocol support for increased system security

host: ftp.yoursite.com
user ID: yahoo user name @yahoo.com@your site.com
password: Yahoo Small Business password
that is all i have of their setup, any help would be appreciated

thank you

Michael

If your web host requires Secure FTP then you will need this extension:

It should work with Yahoo. Many other users have successfully used it. Please make sure your settings are correct.
