1. The CSS menu does not support icons but you can use the Themebale menu instead.
Also, there are many other menus with icon support.

2. The height is not responsive, only the font size.

3. Some options are mutual exclusive because they use different methods to get the desired effect.

Hi Pablo,

Also, there are many other menus with icon support.
Actually i would like to use the CSS menu as it has ( height by px ). so it's more easy to put it in a layer using breakpoints. Themeable menu has padding instead and that's much complicated to control. if that's something you can be improved in the next version that would be great. for all menu the user can choice either control by padding or height.
2. The height is not responsive, only the font size.
same questions! is this can be improved in the next version!
3. Some options are mutual exclusive because they use different methods to get the desired effect.
Got it. if there's any way to playing around that would be pretty cool.

Thank you.

Yes,I have been waiting for this from the beginning and like the see this upgrading also; combination of css and responsible menu. Nowadays I have to use responsible menu for mobile screens and css menu for larger screens, not so handy... !

The responsive menu can also be used for large screens.
The themeable menu also supports drop down menus and a 'hamburger' mode for smaller screens.

Also note that there are many other (responsive) menus available.

Yes of course, but Reponsive menu is lacking these extra styling options like CSS menu has.
And there isn't option to disable the sub menu down triangle signs at all, they not look very nice nowadays modern web pages...

The reason why there are multiple menus is because they all work differently.
But if you have a good idea for improvement then you can post suggestions here:

If more users find your suggestions useful then I will consider it for future development.
