Menu Item protection / hiding

Post by Pat Obeja » Mon Feb 24, 2020 2:21 pm

Is there a way to show/hide a menu item or any other object depending a logged in /logged off user. Like the page protection principle.

There is no standard solution for this, this will require custom code.

So the logout button is allways visible? Even there is no authentication?

Normally, the logout button is only part of pages that are protected.
So, it will only be visible for users that are logged in.
