*** SOLVED *** Photo Gallery 11 problem

Post by Direct2Brain » Sat Jan 30, 2016 3:12 pm

All my photo galleries created with Photo Gallery 10 are correctly visualized on Windows and Android like this:
http://stemen1.altervista.org/Poster.html

This gallery http://stemen1.altervista.org/Still.html is just updated with Photo Gallery 11 with the same settings and this is the result in Android:

The same gallery on Windows:

The Gallery now uses CSS instead of tables, maybe this is the problem?
Thanks.

This is not "Bug" the Photo Gallery was updated in WB11 to use css. So you may have to simply rethink how to use the new features thst it has. If you view other posts in the the forum you will others with similar questions and the answers how to resolve by pablo.

Tutorial note that the Gallrry can now be used in responsive design ie breakpoints so you will need to take this into condideration in your layout.

I'm sorry I do not have an Android device to test this on.
But the main difference between WB10 and WB11 is that the photo gallery now uses CSS (instead of HTML table) to make it responsive.
Maybe the Android browser you are using does not fully support CSS?

Although in the screenshot it looks like the object is too small for the complete row to fit. Does it help when you increase the width of the gallery?

Ok start by removing all custom code you have inserted ie HTML Objects ensure all images are the same size and disable HTML beautifier in properties.

I have reduced the gallery padding, therefore now the space is surely sufficient but the result is still the same. :(
I tried two different browser (stock and Apus) but the page is visualized in the same way. :(

Does it work correct on all desktop browsers?
On my desktop computers/browsers and all my mobile devices your website works correct.

One more things came to mind: does it work when you set the border of the images to zero?

The only custom HTML code is for Shinystat counter, sorry but I don't found any HTML beautifier in properties. :?:

On Windows with different browsers all is OK from 2005, when I started to create my web site with WWB. :D
No success without border. :(

I think the problem is related to the lack of support for one of more CSS3 attributes in the Android browser.
Maybe someone else can try it in another Android browser?

Thank you very much for testing. :)

You are right Pablo,I also tried with my Asus tablet with Android 5.0 and all works fine.
Fortunately the problem is only in Android 4.x (my smartphone) and not in WWB 11 or in my web site. :D
Thank you for support.
