*** SOLVED *** Fancybox problem

Post by Direct2Brain » Sun Jan 31, 2016 10:21 am

I'm working on my photo galleries, I want convert all from slimbox to fancybox.
After some test:

Fancybox + Jquery 3.1.4 ( page properties) = IE works, Firefox 44 broken gallery (don't show the back / forward arrows and close button);
Demo: http://stemen1.altervista.org/Water.html
Fancybox + Jquery 1.11.4 ( page properties) = IE works, Firefox 44 works.
Demo: http://stemen1.altervista.org/Poster.html

WWB 11.0.1.
Thanks.

I'm sorry, fancy-box does not support the jQuery version 2.x. I have no control over this.
Due to license restrictions I am not allowed to include the latest version of fancybox in my software.
That is why in WB11 I have added support for Magnific Popup.

OK, thank you for the info, Magnific Popup is great but I don't like because the images are without a white border, for that against the semi transparent background are not clear to view.
Will be great add this feature in some way.

You can add the new version of Fancybox (which does support jQuery 2.x) yourself.
You can create a new sub folder in the 'lightbox' folder of WWB and copy the fancybox2 files in there.
Take a look at the other lightbox add-on to see how it works.

Unfortunately fancybox2 has a different license and I am not allowed to use in the software. But I have tested it and it works.

I thought the same thing and I have already download fancybox 2.15 zip file but there are many files inside and some are different to your fancybox original folder.
Can you post the screenshot (for example to tinypic) of your new test fancybox2 folder for understand what files include?

The content of lightbox.ini is:

Code: Select all

[attribute]
rel=$ID$

[copyrights]
company=Janis Skarnelis
url=http://fancybox.net/

[init]
script=$("a[rel^='$ID$']").fancybox({$SETTINGS$});
