Form problem

Post by bry » Mon Sep 03, 2018 1:32 am

I haven't used a form for a year or so, but just needed a simple form and so I was surprised to see code at the top of the page. I made sure the page had a .php extension but did not see anything wrong. I have both a success page and an error page and both are linked. I used a template - the support template and just deleted the parts that I didn't need.

Here is an image of the code and an image of the form (the send button is just below the snagged image):

www.test12.info/webbuilder14.1.1

Any help please???

Also, no surprise, but when I filled in the form I got the following:

Not Found
The requested URL /trishb/< was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

PHP showing at top of page indicates that the wrong page extension used ensure .php has been used. Another reason is that the server does not support php.. The 404 is a client side error which can mean that the page has been removed or moved and the url was not changed to show this or that you typed in the url incorrectly.

Bry a picture paints a thousand words, but providing a url helps check for ourselves to what actually be wrong.

Thanks for the link.. Page extension should be http://www.test12.info/trishb/contact.php and not http://www.test12.info/trishb/contact.html You should also remove the this page from the server and only use the .php above.
