form usersdb.php

Post by Alex21 » Sat Sep 29, 2018 5:43 pm

Hi Pablo,

current setup : vers.14 + extension secureftp

Before with version 10 : Had a form that only admin could access the site so admin could edit/add/remove users. Form had usersdb created through the vers.10 platform. Was working fine.

Problem with vers 14.: this form cannot create usersdb.php. Cannot even see the option offered by secureftp extension so i can choose the server.

Note that this has nothing to do with WB10 vs WB14.
This is because SFTP is an extension so it cannot access the login properties/database etc.
WB10 only supported (built-in) ftp. If you select standard FTP in WB14 then it will work the same same.

Note that you can always create the databases manually.

Got it. So is there a walk around with WB14 since ftp is not longer accepted by host. ftp server is useless in the form since it's not possible to publish to host with this mode.
Besides that, i created manually usersdb.php and placed it in www host, and still form cannot find the usersdb.php
Double checked in form setting with ./usersdb.php and then again with usersdb.php (with no ./). Still not seen by WB14 form.
Any idea how to fix this issue?

If the database cannot be found then the specified path is not correct.
Make sure the database is in the same folder or change the path to include the folder.
