It seems to work correct.
Maybe you have already fixed it?

I also get the "Success" page, but it does not seem to deliver into my inbox. Any ideas on what I should check?

Emails are not arriving in my inbox...

Code: Select all

1. Did the emails end up in spam?
No.

Code: Select all

2. Maybe the emails were blocked by your ISP (yahoo and others may block it on the mail server)
I asked my Tech Support at my server, and they just said "It appears to be third-party and we can't support it", after I told them it was using the basic php function to execute.

Code: Select all

3. Does your host support PHP mail?
They told me it should. Which I believe, because I remember, back in 2016, I attempted to make a Contact form on this domain/web-space, and back then, that contact form moved just fine.

Code: Select all

4. Does your host allow you to send email to the destination email address? Some hosts do not allow you to send emails outside your own domain. Try to use different email address.
You can set a fixed 'from' address in the properties of the form.

Could it be that I need to log into Plesk, as my VPS handler for this domain/web-space, and enable an SSL/TLS certificate for webmail? There's an option I have, in my Plesk, called "SSL/TLS certificate for webmail" , and then the chooser for that currently has nothing selected there, but I can use a drop-down box to choose this .com domain .

Code: Select all

5. If changing the email in the form properties address does not work then rename the 'email' editbox to 'e-mail'. This will prevent the script from using the specified email address as the 'from' address.
Which fields would this be talking about in my example?? I tried emptying out totally the "Reply to:" field, and then the page would not even load.

Code: Select all

6. Is your host GoDaddy?
UPDATE: Most new GoDaddy accounts now do support standard PHP mail and/or PHP mailer, so that means you can use the built-in form script.

They may not be able to help you with the script but they can tell you why the email is not sent.
This can only be a configuration issue and only your host knows what you will need to change.

They're telling me since I'm on a VPS, they can't help me since it's a self-managed thing.

You think I could post some screens, here, on my admin pane, for my mail settings and see if anything jumps out..?

Like, I know these are WB forums and not VPS/Plesk forums. But I just thought posting it in accordance with this contact form that is an object in WB, seeing and thinking about what's required by the WB Contact form, and seeing what I can control, side-by-side in my Plesk Admin panel, it may help clear it up..?

Would it be all right if I post some screenshots *anyway*, with the understanding and expectation that I probably will not get my question answered because it is outside the scope of these forums?

With the understanding that this is not a "Plesk" forum, here are five screenshots, and if anyone else who may utilize a VPS or use Plesk or something, I'm trying to figure out why Contact forms I put on pages on this domain will not submit. If anyone could give me any insight, I'd appreciate it. Here are five screenshot of the current settings we are currently using:

Just giving a *bump* to see if any of my fellow WYSIWYG Web Builder users use or have ever used Plesk/or by chance my know a setting I could change that will help e-mails bounce off a page, for a contact form I'm using WYSIWYG Web Builder to create, and actually finally land in a mailbox.

I noticed on one of the Plesk pages that you are using Postfix. I have been using sendmail without any problems. Try that.

Also, you need to have an email account set up in Plesk for either yourself, an admin, or 'someone', in order to be able to send email. Sendmail will then use this email account as the authorised sender.

I have never used Plesk with that said have you asked for assistance with the Plesk community! A quick Google gave me the following it may or may not be related to what your asking/needing.

@MGD4me

I'm open to that idea, but the only thing is, I am not seeing an option to somehow change to "Sendmail" within my Plesk Admin Panel..? I tried using this link that says, "You can install and use another mail server", but then when I get there, and it seems to layout in an Expand/Collapse tree of various types of things I can enable/disable/install/uninstall, I am not seeing "Sendmail" listed *ANYWHERE* for me to use..? Is that something I have to ask my Host to make available to me, in some way, or something..?

@baconfries

Thanks for the link; I'm also on those forums attempting to get some help, now, too; but they're not seeming to respond..

The Plesk people have made the suggestion that I'd have less issues if I could use an SMTP connection with these Contact form(s) rather than using the PHP mail function. Is that possible, with the WYSIWYG Web Builder Contact forms? How can I do that? I've only ever done PHP mail function with the Contact forms I've created in WYSIWYG Web Builder.

You can configure the SMTP settings in the form properties (Advanced->Mail Engine)
