add to cart w/ option

Post by iamafireman »

I only have a few items to sell so I am just using the add to cart button. I know how to add an option if needed, but I did one of the options to add an extra $5 to the price. How do i get it to add the extra charge to the cart?

Easiest way is to build your add to cart buttons on Paypal...Use HTML Box for code....

If you want to code this yourself, here is a link explaining this...https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd= ... 93NG0HE0Y4
Look for "Sample Code for an Add to Cart Button With Product Options With Prices"

I saw that on paypal, but it doesnt add to the price. I need for the item to be $5.00 and if you choose an option then it adds $2.00 to the price.

This is the only accurate way of displaying to a customer what they are paying for:

You maybe able to do what you want through scripting, but not with HTML.
