Hi Jordan

I'm trying to use FAQmanipulation with a master objects. It works fine in the default view, but not in any of the breakpoints. Can this be worked around?

Hi Jordan

A page done in WB11 using this awesome extension is no longer working in WB12. When I click the question nothing happens (both preview and after publish). Are there any known issues using jor_FAQManipulation in WB12?

Hi Jordan

No the demo is not working either, except #4 (the last one) which is populated through the WB extension.

It feels like it could be a setting in options but everything looks the same. Both javascript settings in options are unchecked and format is default.

No it isn't that either. I cannot find anything that has changed.

(links removed)

The only thing I changed is I added a few icons and images to the footer in the new publish. Just to be sure I removed those and tested and it is sill broken. The older publish is WB11. It's a mystery. Thank you so much for looking at this.

ah ok, I see now I think, - there is a prefix on the FAQ extension ?
do you have the latest WB jQuery FAQ installed - update your jQuery FAQ if not, does that fix it ?

I believe I am using the most current WB FAQ extension. The properties of the .uwbx file show Feb 23, 2017. It is likely that I updated to this version after I first built the page though. Maybe that has something to do with it?

i just installed the latest FAQ extension before posting, so I thought, it did not install:/
so, I was using an older version
that is the problem, the latest jQuery FAQ extension has been changed
the ID of the extension now has been given a prefix:/
I will ask Pablo if it can be changed back, if not I will have to create a fix for it - :? -

you could also in the meantime use the jQuery FAQ extension from your WB11 extension folder;)

Yes that would explain it. The working page was built in Dec 2016 so it used the older WB extension. I updated the extension in Feb 2017 but only needed to edit the page recently so I just discovered this.

I see what you are saying. Using an editor I changed the id in the manipulation js of the published page by adding "wb_" prefix and that resolved the issue. The old FAQ version writes the id without the prefix. I'm so glad you were able to figure this out. I hope there is an easy solution.

I just thought of something. I'm slow but eventually I get there. Since jor_FAQManipulation has an empty field for the FAQ object id, all I have to do is write "wb_" then the FAQ object id. Problem solved.

yup, good thinking, - I also wanted to opt this as a workaround yesterday
then I thought, I would have to add more code to cover both id modes if I needed to fix, so I thought let's not open that route
but you found it yourself, aargh - - your a bit too smart - - !

so a full fix, this should work on both old/new jQuery FAQ and with/without prefix

tjaptjoi!:)
