There is no new version planned for the near future.

I'm sorry there is no support of building extension.
To use this tool you must have some knowledge of HTML and basic programming concepts.

The documentation includes several examples of how to create extensions.
Unfortunately I cannot help you with custom requirements, because for me that will also take time to figure out.

You can use the $ID$ variable to use add the 'id' of the object in your own code.
