Javascript functions put in an external javascript file

Post by davidflash » Tue Feb 13, 2018 4:56 pm

Through my page development I created several javascript functions (approx 10)... They all are added at the End of Page section in the Page HTML.
How can I take those functions and put them into a single external javascript file for reference??

Do I just create a javascript file , copy the functions into it, then put a reference of the newly created javascript file in the End of Page Section of the Page HTML???
like : http://SiteURL/SiteFolder/external.js ????

Or is there a better/simpler way???

Thank you in advance...

Yes, that is the easiest way.

You can also enable 'Generate external JS file for page specific scripts' in Tools -> Options -> HTML, but that will affect all scripts on the page!
