Listview text alignment - right to left

Post by longman » Sat Aug 18, 2018 8:02 am

Hi guys,

Is it possible to make Listview text right to left? the site is already RTL, but the texts within my listview are not.

Thanks!

I was hoping something like this works:

Code: Select all

<style>
#"ListView1 {
       text-align: center;
}
</style>
There is no way to make it RTL, right? so I stop trying

Just a quick write up that may work...note provided "asis"

Code: Select all

<style>
#ListView1 > .ui-li-static, #ListView1 > .ui-li-divider, #ListView1 > li > a.ui-btn
{
text-align: right;
}
</style>

BaconFries,

For TabMenu, is it also possible to make it Center alignment or even right to left alignment? I see it is only left and in Style, there is no field for alignments.

im playinh with the code, no success so far.

Sorry for a layman question...
Where in the file do I insert this? It can help me with another problem

<style>
#ListView1 > .ui-li-static, #ListView1 > .ui-li-divider, #ListView1 > li > a.ui-btn
{
text-align: right;
}
</style>

Thanks again Baconfries

For Display Mode -- listview
Page HTML -- Between <head></head> tags

Code: Select all

<style>
#ListView1 > .ui-li-static {
    text-align: right;
}
</style>
#ListView1 - this is the ID of the jQuery Listview object (if necessary, replace it with your own).

For Display Mode -- droplist
Page HTML -- Between <head></head> tags

Code: Select all

<style>
.ui-selectmenu-text, .ui-menu-item div {
    text-align: right !important;
}
</style>

@longman try and be patient for a reply I did read what you asked but I do have a life outside of the forum and it is the weekend! But here us what you can try....

To use: Page HTML Between <head></head>tags*
jQuery Tabs Right

Code: Select all

<style>
#Tabs1 .ui-tabs-nav {
    text-align: right;
    direction: rtl;
    float: none;
}
#Tabs1 .ui-tabs-nav li {
    display: inline-block;
    float: none;
    top: 0px;
    margin: 0em;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
}
</style>
jQuery Tabs Center

Code: Select all

<style>
#Tabs1 .ui-tabs-nav {
    text-align: center;
    direction: rtl;
    float: none;
}
#Tabs1 .ui-tabs-nav li {
    display: inline-block;
    float: none;
    top: 0px;
    margin: 0em;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
}
</style>

@Alex simply insert in Page HTML between <head></head>tags* or you can also use the HTML Object using the same placement from the dropdown.

For the jQuery Tab, answered BaconFries

Tab Menu in the navigation section - right alignment
Page HTML -- Between <head></head> tags

Code: Select all

<style>
#TabMenu1, #TabMenu1 li {
    float: right !important;
}
</style>
there everything is interconnected therefore without knowledge of HTML and CSS it is not necessary to change properties

Thanks guys!

Dlod,

in your code below:

Code: Select all

<style>
#TabMenu1, #TabMenu1 li {
    float: right !important;
}
</style>
Instead of ''right'', i added ''center'' or '''middle'', but the TabMenu did not become center/alingment. is there something else to make it center alignment?

The right alignment worked, thanks!

TabMenu Center
Page HTML -- Between <head></head> tags

Code: Select all

<style>
#TabMenu1 li {
    display: inline-block;
    float: none !important;
}
#TabMenu1 {
    text-align: center !important;
}
</style>
Important: You should thoroughly test the menu before use (there may be problems).
