3d carousel with reveal.js

Post by flkazik » Sat Feb 21, 2015 7:19 am

I have downloaded a tutorial of 3d carousel with reveal.js. I like it very much and try to make it work the right way, but all I get doesn't remind 3d effect shown in the demo. Is there any chance that there is something wrong in the tutorial? I searched the forum, but didn't find any topic relevant to this problem.

No, as you can see in the demo, it works as described.

Did you download the demo project?
What is the URL of your page?

I did it all over again, now I got this. The size of my carousel object is 800/622, so I changed the reveal.initialize call to those.

Where do I make a mistake?

The code has been wrongly added to the page.

Please download the demo or carefully read the instructions.

Sorry to keep bothering, but one more question appeared. Why doesn't the page scroll down?

This is a feature of (external) script.

I'm sorry but I did not create the script. the tutorial is just a demonstration how to include the script in your WWB project.

Hi!

Altough it's been a while the question was asked but probably someone will find usefull how to solve the page scroll down - overflow - problem, and the way to get rid off the arrows that the reval.js generates on the left side of the carousel.

To make the page scrollable just edit the reveal.min.css file which is in the css folder of the demo project (http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/suppor ... usel3d.zip) in the following way: simply change everywhere in this css file the overflow property's value to auto where it is set to hidden

To get rid of the arows that the reveal.js generates put the following code in your page just before the </body> tag:
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$("aside").hide();
});
</script>
