Convert to Ico image

Post by bjlolmaugh » Thu Mar 12, 2015 4:00 pm

Is there a took that will convert an image to an ICO format so it can be used as a URL Icon?

Not sure if it's possible, but that would be a great feature to have on WWB.

Once I create an Ico, how do I implement it?

Insert by going to Page Properties->General->Favourites icon. For IE you may have to save page to "Favourites" first before you will see it in the address bar.

Hi all,

My problem is that I have started to design a new webpage but I see an "ICO" image in my address bar which I used on a previous web design, yet I see no reference to this "ICO image anywhere in page properties. How do I remove the "ICO" image from this current webpage design I'm working on?

Regards

Gary

- This is a good free page where you can make your favicon: http://www.favicon.cc/

- Photoshop has a plugin for this.

- In older Windows OS before Win 10 the standard "Paint" app could fix this.

- There are other photo/paint programs that can fix this to....

As mentioned before in this thread... go to Page Properties, there's a field for Favicon.
