Text Overflowing Issues

Post by barryrodgers » Wed Nov 15, 2017 2:14 pm

Hi all,

This could be a simple fix and I am just not looking in the right place to fix it....

I have a template page that has a placeholder text so that people can easily add their own text in using Notepad++ or whatever they like.

My issue is that, when the text goes on more than one line, it either is not shown (when overflow is on "hidden"), it just gets added over the top of the elements below it (when overflow is on "none") or has scrollbars (when overflow is set to either "auto" or "scroll"). Like this: https://cl.ly/3i3T281J0f1A

So how can I make the text that exceeds the line automatically expand and have everything underneath it move dynamically so that the text doesn't cover it up?

I would be grateful for any help on this :)

Thanks
Barry

You will need to use floating layout (layout grids) instead of absolute positioning.
