RSS feed

Post by KarlErik » Thu Nov 16, 2017 12:39 pm

Hi,

I don't get RSS feeds to work on my intranet page - which is published.

I've tried to use the dedicated RSS feed from Google News, with the search words: Patent Trademark

At the bottom of the page in Google news, there's an RSS-button, see link:
https://news.google.com/news/search/sec ... &ned=no_no

I clicked the link above, and then this page came up with this link:
https://news.google.com/news/rss/search ... &ned=no_no

Google explains we can copy this link and it should work, but I've tried 3 different RSS-feeders and 1 RSS parser and it doesn't work for me.

Is it necessary to "do anything" to the link in the RSS feeder?

Could you please show me a correct path for an RSS feed?

Maybe the settings of the RSS reader are incorrect?

Isn't the default RSS reader in WYSIWYG Web Builder ready to go with the default settings?

Which settings need adjustments?

Say, if you paste in an RSS feed from Google News, what needs to be done to make it work?

Help would be great, thanks!

No, the setting depend on the type of RSS feed, its location and your web server configuration.
See the help for more details.
