Post by Paul Wrigley » Tue Jan 23, 2018 12:53 pm

The view of my site is ok in the software, but all of a sudden it is all messed up when I preview it, also it is not responding i.e. the page does not move up.

Maybe you did not publish all files? For example, maybe the style sheets are missing or have an invalid name?

To be able to help you, I need to see what you have done.
Please always include the URL of the page and/or a link to your project file.

Hi Pablo,

It has not been published yet, I am still working on it. The preview address is file:///C:/Users/Paul/AppData/Local/Temp/preview/index.html, if that is any use.

I cannot access your local files.
Please publish the page or share a copy of your project file.

- Upload the file to your website or another public server
- Share the link

As mentioned you can upload to a public server this means one of the many free file hosts such as Mediafire. Once uploaded you will be provided with a url it is this you can share so it can be downloaded to test

You can use any free file sharing service.
Please also include the images.

Before you share the project, remove all non-relevant content from the project so I do not have to spend too much time trying to figure out what you have done.

I think the problem is related to the ID of your objects. For example: Abbey_large_(Text)
There should not be brackets in the ID, because then the browser will ignore the style for that object.

Hi Pablo,

I have moved brackets and everything seems to be alright.

Thank you very much.
