Docking Layer

Post by girija.mahapatra » Fri Jun 08, 2018 7:07 pm

Hi,

I have a Docking Layer (Dock Top) as my top menu bar, I want it stretch full width but it leaves 1-1/2 inch margin on both sides. Any tip how to make it stretch across full width?

Regards

To be able to help you. I need to see what you have done.
What are your exact settings?
What is the URL of the page?

www.macroprism.com

For the top menu bar, I have taken a Docking Layer with following settings.

Overflow: None
Box size: content box
Mode: Docking layer
Dock mode: Dock top
Position children: absolute
Alignment: center

I'm sorry, but I do not see the margin.
Can you please describe where I need to look exactly?

On every page, my top menu bar I want the logo to be at extreme left without any margin.

Like, on the home page the slides start at extreme left of page but relative to the slide box my logo is almost 1-1/2 inch away from page left. I want to spread the menu bar across the page without any margin on either side, just like the slides on main page.

It should be "full width", just like the "slide show" box.

Don't think that is a margin but a white space to the right, in that case it means you have a objecr(s) outside of the viewport or if you have used a masterpage then you haven't applied the same breakpoints. See the following url reading from
There is a large empty space at the bottom (or right side) of my page.

The alignment of the layer is set to 'center', so that is why the logo is not at left.
