line-height - line space

Post by longman » Sun Jun 10, 2018 2:51 pm

Hi guys,

I went to Site properties > Style and changed Line-height to 1.5

Then all the new texts I insert in the new pages are not with the same 1.5 line space, they are default 1

Maybe a bug?

PS - Line-height is the same Line-space, right? what i wanna do is this http://prntscr.com/jta6qu

to make all pages 1.5

No, line spacing is not the same as line-height

Please see 'using line spacing in styles' in this tutorial:

I studied the tutorial, still unable to change the line-height for 'text' from toolbox.

I wish all the texts that I add to the page to be at line-height 1.5

I went to the Style manager, changed Heading 1 <h1> line-height value to 1.5, after that whenever i make a new Heading, it is at 1.5. How do I do the same for Text option?

In Site manager, there is only H1, H2, H3 and so on, but not for Text.

In other words, I want all my "Text" to be at 1.5, both current and future texts.

Maybe I should create an style? and then apply it for any new text that I add to the page? again I still should go to Text properties and choose that style for the new text.

Is it possible to always have that same style applied for all Texts? So I won't have to choose a style for new texts everytime that I add new text

Correct, you can create your own styles.

The style needs to be applied to the characters, not to the text's container, otherwise the line-height will have no effect.
