Placing Objetcs in Layer (They not stay in wanted position when previewing/publishing)

Post by rodmorale » Thu Aug 09, 2018 8:16 pm

Hi there.

I'm a bit new using this software.

I'm working with Layers. In the first one, for example, I placed an Image, a Text, a Line and another text. I want them in a specific position (not only centering horizontally or vertically in the layer).

For example, I would like, when publishing, the Line placed between Text 1 and Text 2 stays at the same distance of both Texts.

I'll post two images, one in the editing view and one in preview in browser.

Thank you VERY much!

Hi.

I'm not sure how to do that.

I've uploaded it.

I'm sorry, I cannot open your file.
Can you please share it in standard zip format?

Also describe exactly where I need to look in your project.

There you are, in ZIP format.

In the working space, objects are placed inside de layer within a specific distance between them. Once I preview or publish, they "move" like I showed in the images of the first post.

Thank you so much!

I think you will need to replace the line with standard horizontal line.

Here you have the archive.

Happens with the line under "WE ARE EBSTUDIO" and with the other one too.

I do not think the line is the problem. I think the text is rendered a little bit taller because each browser renders text differently.

Note that this only applies to 'fixed' page layout.
For floating layouts this will not be an issue.

How do I change the page layout then?
