button help

Post by sentinel » Sun Aug 19, 2018 4:14 pm

hi all

i was not sure where to open this topic

so brief explanation i am trying to add some buttons for signing in with socials like google and i have found these buttons that i want to use

https://lipis.github.io/bootstrap-social/

how posable is it to add the buttons i tried a few thing but nothing worked i know this may be asking a lot but can someone give me an example on how to do it as i am learning WYSIWYG web builder

yes i do understand that WYSIWYG web builder is a generator and not a editor and that this may not be posable at all

i am also a little curious on why there is no default log in with socials like this built into WYSIWYG web builder
yes i do understand that WYSIWYG web builder is a generator and not a editor

BUT if i refer to it as a editor what i mean is visual editor NOT html editor

These button require bootstrap, so you will have to install this on the server before you can use them.
I think this is overkill for just a few buttons...

Also note that the buttons not actually do anything. They are just buttons with an image.
You can easily duplicate this with the built-in WWB tools.
For example, see the social icons in this template:

hi pablo
i was also looking into the circle progress bar listed in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/453 ... ogress-bar

that looks like it uses bootstrap as well and i haven't found out how to do that with wb14 either so i was going to try and use similar one to that because i am working on a status page that pulls information from a mysql database

and i want people to be able to login with say google to view there status please note that i will be using oauth2.0 for logins

I'm sorry. I cannot help you with bootstrap integration or other programming related questions becuase this generally takes a lot of time and it is not really specific to WWB.

But maybe this extension will be helpful?

hi pablo
thank you for linking me to that extension it is going to be helpful as long as it keeps playing well with flex grids which have already been a very wired experience(should have made a video i would have made good use of the benny hill theme song)
