Robot.txt and Canonical URL

Post by luishmpaulo » Wed Oct 17, 2018 3:21 pm

Hi again.

Doing SEO tests with different tools on my site (ophicina.net.br) I always see that the "robot.txt" either does not exist or is invalid and that I need to define the "canonical url".

Is there any way to do this directly in WB? Or do I need coding?

robots.txt is a file you will need to create yourself.

OK, thanks!
I was able to create the robots.txt and it's working.

And the canonical URL? How do I do?
I found some explanations on the web (inserting the <link rel = "canonical" href = "http://site.com/canonical-link.html" /> between heads), but it is not working...

I'm sorry, I have not experience with canonical URLs, so I cannot help you with that.
