Build in Form / File Upload security

Post by RiaanN » Thu Nov 01, 2018 2:26 pm

Hi Pablo

From a hacker's point of view, how safe is the build in PHP form processor. And the file upload when you specify PDF files only.

I don't want my clients to worry about being hacked because of a vulnerability in the code. If I remember correctly Joomla users were targeted at some stage because of an out of date mailer.

Regards

There are no known security issues with the built-in form script.
If you use the latest version of WWB (14.2.1) then the mailer script is up-to-date.
