Transferring files from another site builder software

Post by Brian Lambert » Mon Nov 05, 2018 12:04 pm

Hi
I apologise if this has been asked before elsewhere!
I have two web sites up and running using S***f W**P**s 8, but W**P**s is no longer supported by S***f.
I have purchased WYSIWYG Web Builder and would like to use this develop the two web sites.
So my question is... Is it possible to transfer, without huge amounts of work, the W**P**s files to Web Builder? W**p**s uses the WYSIWYG format for easy use and saves files as .wpp formate.
So, if possible, how??

Many thanks
Brian

Sorry it is not possible to just open a S***f W**P**s file with WWB as it is not compatible. You can of course import the HTML files using the import feature of the program. Note not all features will be imported so you will need to rebuild these.

I think I'm missing something simple somewhere?

The instructions in the link state.... Select Page->Import HTML Page from the menu to display the Import HTML page window.
Where is this Import HTML Page menu item hiding? I cant locate it!

This is what I see in the basic New page open at Select Page

and the Drop down on that page..

It looks like you have enabled 'Easy Mode', this will hide the advanced options.
Please disable 'Easy Mode'

Thank heavens someone knows! :D Thanks for the guidance. Easy Mode (whatever that is? - doesn't seem that easy really!). Now turned off and Import visable
