WYSIWYG meta tag

Post by MartinPorter » Thu Nov 15, 2018 10:15 pm

Hi everyone.

Was just looking at the source code on my page and I have found that even if the "Generator" field is blank within the page properties
it still shows the line - <meta name="generator" content="WYSIWYG Web Builder 14 - http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com">
when viewed locally and cannot be removed? was put in on the last update or do I have a problem with my current version?

thanks & regards
Martin...

If you remove the meta tag from the page properties then it will be removed from the code.
You may need to clear your browser cache.

Re-installing will not make a difference.

Maybe you have used a master page and did not change it there?
