Block problem on clean 64 bit install

Post by RiaanN » Tue Nov 20, 2018 5:44 pm

Hi Pablo

I installed the 64 bit version on a clean Win10 system. When I go to blocks there is nothing there. When I click on the file icon it gives me the following error:

Windows cannot find c:\Program Files\WYSIWYG Web Builder 14\system\blocks

The SYSTEM folder in the string above is not supposed to be there, but I don't see a place where I can change that. Files and folders currently points to C:\Program Files\WYSIWYG Web Builder 14

Maybe you have set an invalid system folder in Tools->Options->Files & Folders?

No - I have not set anything.

The folder path in Tools->Options->Files & Folders points to C:\Program Files\WYSIWYG Web Builder 14

This is not correct.

The default path is:
C:\Users\YourName\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder

Hi Pablo

For some reason the 64 installation did not create the C:\Users\YourName\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder path.

I installed the 32 bit version and the 32 bit version did create the path. I then pointed the 64 bit to the above mentioned path and everything is working now.

I don't know if this is a bug when installing the 64 on a clean system specifically because my earlier installation of the 64 bit was done alongside a 32 bit installation and I did not face any issues like on a clean install

The path is not created by the installation, it is created by the application when you first launch it.
