page size problem

Post by tjp28blue »

Hello,

In my website I have several links which take the reader to other pages in my project. All work well with the exception of one of them.
On clicking this link the page appears but as a very small part page in the top left corner of the screen. It can be corrected by pulling out the double-headed arrows and then using the magnifier, but I don't need to do this with others. It looks fine when I preview the link but as soon as I publish, it reverts to the small image in the top right screen.
Grateful for any advice to overcome this problem.

Regards,

tjp

To be able to help you I need to see what you have done.
What is the URL of the page?
And where exactly do I need to look to see the problem?

Thank you Pablo,

It is a UK website url tillingtonarchives.co.uk. Once in using the menu bar at the top of the entry page click 'image collections' Scroll down this page a little way until you see a row coloured box icons, click Evershed Collection and scroll to 'Read More' button. When this is pressed you should see the effect.

I have just noticed that the problem appears to be only on my PC an not my Mac - very strange.

On my computer the link opens a PDF document. Is this correct?
You have configured it to open in a popup window.

Pablo,

It was a pdf file, but I re-published the page, in an attempt to solve the problem, as just layer and then copied a small Word document into it. I cannot see on the forms where I could use a pop up. If this is causing the problem could you guide me out of it. I assume that you can see the problem?

Pablo,

Many thanks didn't spot it was the link and not the page.

Once again I am very grateful for your expert help and your patience.

Trevor
