carousel on homepage

Post by Lasa »

The carousel on the home page has two images. it goes through the first sequence no problem.. but when it comes around the second time the first slide does this double slide-up-in animation, then goes to the second slide.

Any ideas why?

You did not reset reset the objects to their initial state after the Carousel goes to another slide. So the begin state of the elements is not hidden.

All I did was place the image over the middle of carousel background image and added the animation slide-in...
so it only shows the slight slide-in to the center... so in effect its in the original place? Does that make sense?
The second image as a small logo that slides in bottom right does not have the same problem.

When you use an animation to make an object visible then it need to be hidden first, otherwise it will not have the correct initial state.

A lot of my problem was the EDGE BROWSER!
Also I was making the animation from the carousel background image, instead of the object itself.
It is now seems to be working correctly.
Thanks,
