Unable to login to forum - bitdefender

Post by IanRob »

For some reason, Bitdefender is now stopping me from logging into this forum. The only way I can log in is to switch the firewall/virus protection off.

The error message is below. even if I click the "take me there anyway" it gives a blank page

If I click the Take me to the board administrator" it gives me the error "The board administrator contact page has been disabled."

The bitdefender error message is below:
---------

This page was blocked for your protection
ucp.php?mode=login

An attempt to send your password unencrypted, in plain text, was prevented on this page. View more details in the Notifications area of your Bitdefender security solution.

I understand the risks, take me there anyway
---------

Thanks

Ian

Ya I thought this site was HTTPS but now it ain't. If you enter the https manually that works but should not be necessary.

Thank you Jerryco and Pablo

That solves the problem

What is odd is that with my own website, if you put in www or http or even a plain url without the prefix, it automatically changes to https in the url bar

On this forum site, it automatically changes to just www

I suspect it is something to do with the configuration on the webhosting side

Thanks again

Ian
