MY web site has a site search option which works well - too well in fact. On my master page, I have some text which says "Join us" and a hand pointing to the relevant menu item.
However, if I do a search for "join", it shows every page since, of course, it finds the word "Join" in the header. I've tried publishing it as an image, but that makes no difference. I think I may have to convert it to an image and buld the header with that image. But that seems a weird sort of solution. I tested that this was the issue, by deleting the text and republsihing - at whiich point everything worked OK.
So, is there a way that the site search can exclude the header data so it only builds on data that is in the actual pages?
Alan
Can the site search list exclude header values?

Re: Can the site search list exclude header values?
Maybe you can use a banner or label object instead, this will not be included in standard text search.
Or maybe you can exlude the entrire master from the search index?
