Rollover text alpha in WWB 15.1

Post by piotrh »

Pablo,
New ability to set the alpha value of Roll Over Text background actually does not work.
If I set opacity to 100% (in order to have non transparent text) and then – for example – black background with alpha the output created this way is non-transparent gray color fully covering my photo... This result was possible earlier without adding option to set alpha.

*Update: This works fine in layout grid but not in non-responsive use of roolover text object.

Yes. Two copies of the same rollover object.
1st inside layout grid
2nd just dragged onto page

It works corrects. However, some animations work in reverse.
Which means that the image is faded out to make the background visible, instead of placing an overlay on top of the image.
For floating layouts (in layout grid) this sometimes works different, because layering elements does not always work.
However, in all cases the alpha of the background color is affected.
