Page will not stop loading

Post by Martin555 »

Hi there,

I have started to build a website today and when I uploaded and checked it online some of the pages would not stop loading and making the web page unstable. The little circle kept going around and around, and seems to keep reloading.

I have tried it with several browsers including Chrome, Edge and Opera and the same problem arises.

There is hardly if any JS on the site yet, so I am not sure what I have done.

This is one of the pages I am having trouble with >>

https://www.cannacare-ph.com/Our-Mission.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and i am sure it is a simple fix, well hoping so. The web page is still very basic as I only started it a few hours ago. '

Thank you in advance

Martin.

The page source reveals the following meta tag:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; URL=./Our-Mission.html">
It looks as though you have added code which is asking the page to redirect to itself. Remove that tag and all should be well.

Or you have set a redirect in the Page Properties.

Brian and Pablo,

A big thank you to you both, yes you were correct, I have no idea why I put that in, the only thing I can think of that is was after a 16 hours session building the website, I should learn my lesson to walk away from something and come back to it with a fresh head on the next day.

Thank you to you both, your help and time is really appreciated.

Martin.
