Hi!

I downloaded the latest version (64-bit) as always, but I can't install it: I click on "setup.exe" and nothing happens ...

Nobody else seams to have this problem, including me. Think you must give Pablo some more info? Have you done any changes to your OS since the last update? Have you installed any antivirus or other security Softwares...
Have you restarted your PC?

Usually (this is a related to a firewall or virus scanner blocking the software.
To solve it, add the setup to the exception list

No changes in my PC since the update before this one.
I restarted minutes ago, but "setup.exe" doesn't respond.
I disabled Kaspersky (which never blocked the installation), but it still doesn't work.

Well, if I find what is wrong I'll come back to tell.

Are you running it from within the Zip file or extracting it first?

Try starting task manager first and see if it's getting started and then exiting or not even getting that far.

Extracting first.

I tried the task manager but it didn't get there. I also tried to run as an administrator, with no effect.

Can you re-download the setup file and run that again? Maybe the file got corrupted on the way to your pc?

Where are you extracting it to?

I tried, no effect.

And a curiosity: this is the only "setup.exe" that doesn't run. I tested run others, from others programs, and they started installing . I really don't know what else to do, I think I'll wait for the next update...

There is really nothing wrong with the file. it's the same as every other update.
I think your firewall or virusscanner is blocking the application. To solve this, add the setup to the exception list or look for a more reliable virusscanner /firewall.

Do you have another computer you could try to install on?

Hello. Just to give you feedback about the problem: I believe it started after the last Windows update - Windows Defender "took over" and disabled some things, including some "setup.exe" (not all), also disabling antivirus (Kaspersky Total Security) and not allowing exceptions to be established. Through the Kaspersky website I was able to redo the antivirus installation and now everything is back to normal, I was able to update the WB.

Thank You all.
