Card container - re: carousel example

Post by MGD4me »

I would like to implement a similar card design, as shown in "Cardcontainer3" of your example page: https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/suppo ... ainer.html

Specifically, how did you 'fix' the location of the card container so that it is positioned part way down the page? Since the Help page states that it cannot have an absolute position, and to use 'Arrange' to move the position up or down. Could you provide a couple of the settings you used for the Cardcontainer3 carousel example, please.

I thought I had it figured out by going to 'Arrange' and adding in a Top Margin of 500, but what I see in the workspace doesn't seem to be the same after I publish a test sample. I'm sure with a few more clues that I'd be off and running!

Thanks

In WB16, the card container can have an absolute position.

Ahhh... so it does! I am trying that out now.

In the meantime, one other question... Using the 'card deck' option of CardContainer will make all cards the same height (I believe), but when I select 'carousel' mode I have cards of slightly different heights. Is there an option to 'force' all cards to be equal in height that I can't find?

Thanks for your help, and the much improved ver 16 !

Unfortunately, that is not possible. In carousel mode the container uses the third party OWL script. This script does not support this functionality.
