WebBuilder to Quick & Easy(QWB)

Post by chapy »

I have been able to Save a WebBuilder file to a .QWB file and open it in Quick'n Easy just fine until I tried today.
I have the latest versions for both WB & QWB as of 24 Jan 2021.

I have recently added a Master Page in WB which I did not have before.
Now nothing comes across in the QWB file except the Master header and footer. The file structure is there, but no images or layout grids.

Any suggestions?

To be able to help you, I need to see what you have done.

Pablo:

Here is a Link to both the WB & QWB files.

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ibgircdnlkyg ... 3-Zha?dl=0

I operate using a PC using the WB file & then Save to the QWB file.
The QWB file when opened by QWB only has the Master Page Header & Footer - no pictures or layout grids for page contents.
I trimmed my project to just 2 pages.

If I do not use a Master Page in WB, then the QWB files are OK.

Using the QWB on both the PC and the Mac, I obtain the same result - a header, but no page content.

My objective is to be able to save my WB file to a QWB file and then open the QWB on a Mac.
This works great, except when I added a master page to my WB file.

thanks

The problem is related to the footer on the master page.
It loos like this is currently not supported in QWB.
I will investigate if this can be implemented in a future update.

For now to make this work, remove the footer from the master page.
