Thanks here too filmphotog, although I found the site you got your inspirition from is extremely bloated for which the site developers should have a look at that, your demo is fine and loads fast, so the use of your template and thoughtful use of images etc should produce very good results.filmphotog wrote:Thank you very much for the comment! - The inspiration for this template was this website

Thank you for the comment! I prefer lightweight too, especially for responsive web design when the device viewed on could be small and the connection slower.electrochrisso wrote:Thanks here too filmphotog, although I found the site you got your inspirition from is extremely bloated for which the site developers should have a look at that, your demo is fine and loads fast, so the use of your template and thoughtful use of images etc should produce very good results.filmphotog wrote:Thank you very much for the comment! - The inspiration for this template was this website

Re: Free template: Minimalist black
Hi and thanks, liquid wrote:hello and thanks for sharing your works. I would like a question:
the slideshow is a component that compatible with RWD pages like your template. well, why if I insert a slideshow in one of page when I launch the preview, I don't see it?
thanks
The slideshow has to be manually resized for each breakpoint.
I usually set the initial size to 320px wide and place it at the left border. This way it will be visible in the 320 breakpoint. Go to the 320 breakpoint and see if it's ok. In the next larger breakpoint resize the slideshow to fit, and the same in all larger breakpoints.
Note the layer needs to be unlocked when adding new objects, also check the Object Manager that the slideshow is "child" of the layer.
Hope it works.

I also used this template for an update on my photo page leicafilmphotography.se It's slower than I would like tough, because of all images and photo galleries.
