Cannot VIEW content ...

Post by Smee »

Using the "demo" CMS template and trying to figure it out.

I'm able to logon, add page, edit page, even delete page.

What I cannot do is click on the "Content" link and view the data as it is supposed to be presented.

I get the following error:
Failed to connect to database server!
Access denied for user 'ahgwebc'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

The error indicates that there is an mistake in your MySQL settings.
Make sure all CMS objects have the same MySQL properties.

Okay, got a bit farther ... not getting the same error. I had not set up cms object on content page (didn't see it referred to in instructions, somehow missed it).

Now it displays the page the way it appears in web builder ... without content from the cms.

Pablo, thank you so very much for pointing me in the right direction. Got it going ...I'm actually trying to replace some of the "S***f Web Resources" stuff I had gotten trapped in using "that other webdesign program".

Thanks for this great program!
